We've modified Exhibit so that exhibits can be linked up. Just use this modifed version of Exhibit and add a "mashpointid" property to the items in your dataset.
Isotope
Isotope offers building visually compeling collections with very cool CSS layouts. You can also add filters and sorting options to your collections. We've modifed Isotope so it can be used as a mashpoint app. Just add a mashpointid attribute to your elements in your HTML and let us do the rest of the work. Get the modified version here.
